Social Media Marketing to Latinos


The 2016 presidential election immigration debate and results will not change the larger trend: Omaha Latino and Latina population growth, for example, is expected to triple by 2050. And in some towns across Nebraska, Latino students already are the majority of public school students. An AAF Omaha panel, Advertising to the Latino Market, urged businesses to embrace change and learn how to market through traditional and social media.

Social Media Bullies


Chicago Sportswriter Julie DiCaro has more than 30-thousand Twitter followers, but she frequently blocks accounts that attack her. While Twitter makes it so easy to connect, in sports media women get “constant rolling harassment,” and “a stream of sexism and misogyny and threats.”
